There is something emotionally satisfying about physically creating a piece of artwork from scratch, whether getting your hands dirty with ink and paint and clay or building something that exists nowhere other than the confines of a computer's memory.

I find that the ability to illustrate ideas and concepts instantly, in rough form, to clients as we're discussing their needs is invaluable for both creating greater understanding and speeding up the final design process. Talk to clients about pixel sizes, screen resolutions, aspect ratios and multiple delivery functions and their eyes will glaze over - draw them a picture and you have instant connection. This is especially true when working out wire-frame models of systems, if you can sketch out your ideas with the client, instead of booting up Visio or Freehand, or what-have-you, they instantly become part of the process and that much more engaged and therefore happy.

This section of my site shows just a few samples of the work I've created over the years.

You can just view the images, but if you want more information a mouseover will give you a description.
